Tony Vincent is an ever evolving singer guitarist one man show entertainer. Endowed with the kind of liquid phrasing ranging from up tempo swing to honey-laden ballads that come from depth of experience and can turn from a whisper to a shout in the blink of an eye. This rich with passion instrumentalist is deeply invested in living through life's joys and perils and continues to hone his skills to peak maturity, such is the journey of this performer extraordinaire. His acceptance by skilled artists who come his way is due to the experience of many years in the business and they're impressed by his way around a song, his willingness to flow with their muse and his inate ability to deliver the music.

The range of material within Tony Vincent's broad comfort zone is impressive. It takes conviction and expertise to address the work of such a wide range of composers from Gershwin to Bob Dylan, Cole Porter to Ray Charles, Willie Nelson to The Beatles and Rolling Stones. He also has a considerable pallet of originals tucked under his sleeve.

Raised in South Africa to immigrant parents from Portugal, a country he has made his base for the last 20 years although he still returns to South Africa yearly to enjoy the summer there and record his albums while escaping the drabness of the winters in Europe.

Numerous renowned bandstands were among those early gigs with stints with the likes of The Strobes, Caravan, Tropical Band, Trio Samba, The Debonaires, The Rockets and later going solo with resident terms at some of the most prestigious hotels throughout South Africa.

In 1990 he made a radical move to Portugal and after a slow start in Porto he ended up in the Algarve and began doing the pub circuit in and around Albufeira where the bulk of the tourism is concentrated. C.P.O, Sheridan Hotel, Wild Waters, Janelas do Mar, Cheers and Amazonas are just some of the venues where he performed until ending up at Portofino on the strip where he remained for 8 years until it was sold in 2009. He has since been resident at the Louisiana on Albufeira's main beach where you can find him again in 2011 from May through to November.
